Can’t wait to see this premier!! Thanks to the French Rett Syndrome Association for the best preview poster ever!
The French Rett Syndrome Association needs our help. They have an awesome proposal and are in the running to receive a hefty donation, but they need our votes! Here’s what they are looking to do and provide…
“The AFSR organizes training courses for parents of children with Rett syndrome.. Rett syndrome is a rare genetic disease that causes multiple disabilities ranging and multiple pathologies. These courses are provided by allied health professionals. Each course focuses on a different theme, such as: orthopedics, ports and transfers, communication, nutrition, osteoporosis, contactors manufacturing to adapt toys within reach of children etc …
These courses allow these families to receive information they can not find at various medical consultations, yet they are essential to make better the lives of their children and theirs. They are held in small groups in order to exchange more easily (12 maximum). They include a technical part, transmitting information and tips, as well as a practical part with workshops and situational.
The AFSR supports the travel costs of these families, their catering and accommodation during the courses as well as professional services. A booklet is given to them to remember what they have learned during the course.”
It’s simple to vote. Even if you are in another country, you can support this worthy organization. Awareness and education anywhere in the world benefits us all, especially due to social media where parents can help those they’ll never meet in person.
